DEPAC Inlet Valve

The United Conveyor Corporation (UCC) DEPAC® Inlet Valve is designed for vessel isolation service in high pressure pneumatic conveying applications of abrasive material such as dry ash. UCC has engineered new component options for this valve to provide improved sealing performance, extended service life, greater reliability and ease of maintenance. The DEPAC Inlet Valve comes fully assembled and can be shipped pre-piped to reduce field assembly and installation costs. Retrofit upgrade kits are in-stock and available for fast delivery.

  1. What applications can the DEPAC Inlet Valve used for?[+]

    This valve was designed for vessel isolation service in high pressure pneumatic conveying applications of dry ash and other abrasive materials. The body is rated for pressures up to 9 bar [130.5 psi] and temperatures of 300°C [572°F]. The body is a single piece fabricated design that complies with PED, ASME, and CSA codes.

  2. What types of disc and seat material does UCC offer? [+]

    This valve has three different disc and seat material options; Viton® lined steel construction, DURITE® and Tungsten Carbide.

  3. Is UCC’s DEPAC Inlet Valve a direct replacement for the Fläkt Dust Inlet Valves? [+]

    In the majority of cases, it’s a drop in replacement. UCC also offer retrofit kits which are in-stock and available for immediate delivery worldwide.

  4. Can the disc and seat be replaced while gate is installed in the line? [+]

    Yes, this valve has two access ports, 6” X 11” oval and 6” round, to allow the maintenance personnel change the disc and seat and make adjustments to the internals.

  5. What is the minimum air pressure required to actuate these valves?[+]

    The operating range for the air cylinder is 80-100 PSI.

  6. What accessories can be ordered on these valves?[+]

    The DEPAC Inlet Valves can be specified with:

    • Rotary vane or air cylinder actuators,

    • Direct mount or a pre-piped standalone solenoid valves,

    • Roller lever type or proximity limit switches.

    Ordering a fully assembled valve significantly reduces field assembly time and installation expenses.
